Pieces of Me – Byron Clarke

Composed by Byron Clarke, Written by Lester Hein

Pieces Of Me by stereotype

Pieces of me

I met a man in the mirror
I ain’t seen for while
He said things are gonna get clearer
I should just smile.

I had a talk for a little,
On the inside
I found my middle
I can take it in my stride

Moments and memories flying by
Hanging out fragments of my smile
But now that I’ve found them
I’ll put them together  -
These pieces of me.

These pieces of me
These Pieces
I’m gonna put them together
These pieces of me
These pieces of me
These Pieces.

Looking back to it,
I was your fool for while
I kept on giving
Till the well ran dry
And even though I couldn’t see it
Well not at that time
It shouldn’t be, this hard
For you to make me smile

Pieces of me
Lying on your bedroom floor (I’m scattered everywhere)
Looking around,
I’m hanging in pictures on your wall.

But right now,
I’m picking it
and I’m taking it down and
This is the part where I turn it around
Turn it around (turn it around)
These pieces of me

These pieces of me
These Pieces
I’m gonna put them together
These pieces of me
These pieces of me
These Pieces.

I’m gonna put them together,
These pieces of me
These pieces of me

I’m whole again

I’m whole again

I’m whole again

I’m whole again
