Isaac Monty

Born in Cape Town, this talented singer is the son of a Pastor and Choirmaster which is where he got his flair for the musical arts. At an early age, Isaac would sing at events in high school.

In 2003 he embarked on an eight-month stint in Mallorca, Spain as a Tribute artist. Upon his return, he became active in church music ministry. In 2007 he was appointed by the church as a choirmaster. Although not formally trained, he conducted other choirs. This was done for a couple of years before leaving for New Zealand.

Returning in early 2009, he got involved in music full-time. He did a couple of gigs as lead-vocalist for jazz band Linear. It was at one of these gigs that he got spotted by Chad Saaiman.

Recruited as Chad Saaiman‘s back-up vocal, it was a matter of time before his calling as a songwriter surfaced, leading to his current position as songwriter/studio session-vocalist for StereoType Records.
